Still Under the Weather
We're still not back to normal. Basically, I've eaten very little in the past few days -- just having ginger ale and the old family remedy, "Jello-water" which is Jello made with twice the amount of water and you drink it warm. Seems to soothe the stomach.
I'm toying with the idea of making some chicken noodle soup but I'm not sure either one of us can tolerate "real food" yet.
I'm still achy and very tired and I truly wish my stomach belonged to my worst enemy right now!
Well, there's always tomorrow...it's GOT to be better, don't you think?

Re: Still Under the Weather
yes it has to get better! Stephen is funny... he never makes chick noodle soup unless one of us is sick.... cause if he makes it if we are not sick.... within a couple of days we do get sick! hehe!
Growing up we did the jello water too! isnt that funny!
I hope you feel better soon!

Going back to bed -- arghh
Thought I'd sample a little bit of the chicken soup I made -- smelled so good and also good for what ails ya, right?
One spoonful and it came right back up. Oh well, at least we're going in another direction now -- but not quite what I had in mind.
Nitey nites for now.

Re: Still Under the Weather
take care Sis, and roo sit on her if you have to. That is one thing I miss when I am sick is Mom and Dad's chicken soup. I always got homemade when I was sick, no matter my age, use to get hot lemonade too, made fresh. DO miss my parents, esp when I am sick...

Re: Still Under the Weather
Oh noooo! Yucky feeling isn't it? But it does have to be better tomorrow.
When my Dad's Mom was alive Drambuie was the answer to what ailed you. And Eucalyptis Drops from Marshall Field's. Of course, that was only for the adults but you could get the Eucaltyptis Drops if you asked nicely. Unfortunately, when you're sick a trip to Grandma's was out of the question.
Otherwise Mom gave you chick soup and flat Ginger Ale or flat 7up, still is by the way.
Try to look at the bright side, count up all those pounds you are shedding! LOL
Healing prayers coming your way! Dr. Roo you are in charge! Hand out lots of kisses and hugs.
