Oh How Wonderful, Oh How Marvelous
Just how awesome Springtime is!
My girls and I went for a long walk and what a joy it was! The sun warming our faces as a hand touches a brow. The wind blowing our hair. The swaying grass dancing to the music of the blowing trees. The purples, yellows, and whites painting the landscape with glorious color. Enjoying this glorious trek with my girls--what could be better! I am truly blessed.
My girls get so excited when we get ready to go for a walk. All I have to do is say walk, bye bye, or get a leash. They are up and at the door and will not let me forget.
As we were walking it is so funny watching my girls and their different personalities.
Olivia is the baby and sees the world as a child would. She is ready to explore and sniff everything. She is on constant alert to see what she can find. We cannot stop enough to explore every scent, sight, or sound.
Treasure is mainly about the walk. She will explore for something special that really gets her attention. She will also check out whatever seems to really have Olivia's attention.
Belle is almost 9. She loves to go for walks, but probably not quite as far as Treasure and Olivia like to go. She loves to smell areas that other dogs have been, such as mail box posts. Otherwise, she pretty much just likes to walk. She does seem to like to "mark" her territory, even though she is a girl.
Oh what fun it is to be with our little pups!

Gracie is a cross between Olivia and Belle. We walk year round and you should see her smell the holes in the snow!

What a wonderful walk you had Maxwell loves to stop and explore every blade of grass he stops for everyone to give him a pet he loves his walk it just takes us ages lol

What a lovely post! I almost felt I was on your walk with you and I could feel the joy in your heart! I love that you really know each of your girls so well, it always amazes me that the same breed of dog can be so different from the next one. thanks for sharing your happiness with us!

Thats a super post,Nimble is like Olivia and always on the go and alert at anything and anyone..she is like a wind up toy that keeps going and Ellie loves her walks more steady but can go for a long time and loves to roll in streams and marshland and Emma our collie is always alert and on the go but often cautious and wary of things and various noises.Love and kisses xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
