Just wanted to say Hi and see whats up in your world today. we have been outside early but temps now 75 and us Oregon Coasties cant take that. Tell us what you R doing today. Wow- it's quiet here at the TC today. It's a beautiful day in NYC today. Mom is at work but I went for a nice long walk with my dogwalker and am now relaxing on the bed- mom's bed. of course. Needless to say, I'm almost too tired at night to type!! It was cloudy here today in Atlanta and a little chilly. Hi everyone! It is quiet today--although I've been at work and haven't had a chance to look in. Atlanta is a little cool for this time of year and is getting cloudy--rain is on the way. My girls were so glad to see me come home! Of course, out the door they ran to see if they could get any of the squirrels. Olivia is looking out the window as I type. I love the pics of the flowers and the pups--two of my favorite things. Lynn, I hope the tennis tournament goes well and then you can get some relaxation. Hi Fran, Yes my girls are always so excited when I come home. They are all standing at the door competing to get my attention. One of the best feelings in the world! I went to see my girl's flower. Absolutely gorgeous!!!! As always I love looking at your albums! It is so relaxing at the end of a busy day. They are truly a stress reducer. Thanks so very much for the flower for my girls and for sharing your beautiful albums. I also loved your picture of the flowers with your beautiful pups along with the Oregon Girlie's picture. It was warm and hazy today in NC. we got to play with Smoke and Aly our boxer brother and sister today. Then we sat on the swing with Mom and Dad and we each had a rawhide to chew - are teeth are sparkling now (hehe) and them Momma took us for a walk. Mom worked as a consultant teacher at middle school this morning (working with kids with learning disabilities) and it was very pleasant. Yesterday she did the same thing at high school in the a.m. and then in the afternoon, spent four grueling periods sub-teaching Global I and II and Economics with a bunch of the worst-behaved kids she's ever worked with -- so today was a real treat for her! Oh, and today she also had a great "laughing-our-silly-heads-off" lunch with two dear friends, both retired from the school district. One was her friend who was diagnosed with leukemia in December -- after four chemos she is doing marvelously, is looking great and is IN REMISSION! (Yes, TC prayer-power does work, thanks so much!!!) Tomorrow and Friday she is working as an elementary school librarian in the next town over and she loves that one! Oh, and after lunch, Mom came home and mowed several acres of grass and looked longingly at her flower gardens, which really need Mom's gentle touch right now!! (Just no time right now!) Tomorrow she's sending in a cover letter and resume for a part-time job with an organization in the village that helps find jobs for county residents. She would be a front desk assistant, helping clients with employment services and resources if she gets the job. It's four hours a day (8:30 to 12:30, Monday thru Friday) -- she'd like that schedule!!!! OK, we're done! It's been a busy several weeks here with Mom working a LOT at the schools and we are really, really looking forward to a nice weekend, me and Mom and Dad!!! Your pal, Dr. Roo and Mom DR. ROO HERE! They are ages 1, 3, and 4. They all have birthdays in March. Believe me, I am almost as tired as on days that I have to work. They think their Mimi is there just to be their playmates--but I really do love it! Grandchildren are so wonderful! I took Belle with me today. I go to one of my son's house. They have a Westie named Oliver. Belle and Oliver grew up together, so they are buddies. It is drizzling rain today and is one of those lazy days when it would be good to just sit back and read a book. Need to take my little Belle to the vet for her yearly check-up, though. I know how much she will like that. Treasure and Olivia were upset when I left with just Belle earlier. I can just imagine when I leave with Belle to go to the vet. They are probably going to wonder what is going on that they can't go also. Fiona, you should choose a flower to name after Lori. They are so beautiful and the albums are awesome. I didn't realize so many came from Oregon. I just love Oregon. All of you live in a beautiful place. We hope all TC members--pups and their owners--are having a wonderful day! I hadn't been on because on Tuesday, I was drown proofing Phoebe and a refresher course for the others that needed it. I try to do that at least once a year just in case they fall in the pool, even though I am usually out with them. Yesterday, I was catching up on housework and today I was budy taking my mother for a stress test and that takes a while. Phoebe is not only a mountain goat, but a destroyer so it feels like I spend my dauy picking up pieces of papet and if by accident one is left on a table it soom makes it place as confetti on the floor.
