Not doing well at all. Vote for this post

So sorry we have not been around.
Some days I do not even turn on the computer.


Having a real ruff time .Was so hoping I start to feel better after the radiation .
Have insomnia so bad some nights I only get 1 hour sleep and if I get 4 I am lucky.
I have terrible headaches nearly daily. My eyes are still giving me problems too even dropping 5 x a day.
Am sorry I did not take the surgery.
Just 1 months has passed since the radiation and it feels like months.
Have 2 more months to go through yet. I have crying bouts and zero energy.
It is real hard to concentrate too. Graves disease stinks. Hate that I can't work out or do things like I used to do. Of course the daily reflux does not help either even with medication.

The boys are fine we took them to the vet today to get nails clipped.
This morning  Moshe was pulling and Levi went around my leg  on the otehr side and I fell on my hip at the Vet. Of course I had to fall on my bad side . Was lucky I was able to get up and that I did not break my hip.
Am making big mistakes like this morning I was putting the dog food with my dishes  in the cabinet. My head sure is not working right.
With the big Holidays coming up I do not know how to get through  the long services. I might have to go home if I do not feel well. 
Decided not  to teach this year in the synagogue school with the new director. So I am retiring  .
Am leaving for The Netherlands on September 23 and dread theh trip already.
We finally had some rain and from the looks we are getting a big hurricane if it stays on its path.

Happy birthdays to all that we lissed and Gotcha days. Will try to do better as of today.

Had more bad news today my insurance will no longer pay for most of m y medications as of September 1.
What a bummer.

I will add you to my prayers, I feel for you, I am not near as bad but with what I'm going through I understand the feeling of just wishing for a few days of the past.

 The good old days when I had lots of energy and was able to do all kinds of things I really miss them. With what you went through it is understandable that you miss those days too Eve.They must all be kidding when they talk happy about the golden days.
Sure hope for you and for me they get better.We have to have hope.

Me too and I am writing a list so I can answer all the questions I have.I know once I have the right dose of medication I will do fine and have more energy but I also know that after 2 busy days you need to recoop for 2 days.As long as I have some good days I be just fine.Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts.

I am so sorry you are not feeling well  - - I will PM you after work.  My daughter has Graves disease and has since she was 14 - - the very good news is that after lots of fine tuning with the medications, etc.....she manages it very well.  The non sleeping, forgetfulness and the eye involvement were all problems for her too at first as her body was trying to readjust.   Then for you to fall certainly didn't help - - thankfully you weren't hurt.

 Oh  no ,how awful  your daughter had Graves so early in her life.
Guess I was spoiled after many surgeries and a kidney disease I still had lots of energy to do things and now none at all. It gives me hope to hear that she is managing beautiful. Thanks for telling me that Lyn. It gives me hope.
I have lots of patients with children even the ones who have disabilities but with my self I do not have any at all.

Sorry that you have not been up to par, thyroid can rule your life. It has mine for several years. The doctor has finally gotten my meds right and my memory is getting better. Besides that the diarrhea that has plauged me for years is controlled and I have live on immodeum but have cut back on that. Along with that good news I have started losing weight. Now for the bad news, umm, I can't think of any. Have a good trip, you need the rest, maybe then you can sleep. I have difficulty falling asleep at night so I turn the TV on and fall asleep in no time but then I am up at 5:00 every morning.

You look fantastic Ruth in the pictures.So happy for you that you are doing so well.
 I also have RLS so combined I am a mess.  The meds the Neurologist gave me made me wake up around 1:00 AM every day and once I am a wake I do not sleep again. Have always been a early person and most of the time even with a sleeping pill I never sleep more than 6 hours.
Always awake at 5:00 AM too.
I am the only one like that in my family with my Dad he was like me.My mom ,sisters and brotehr could lay in bed till noon.
Now that i am so tired I am jealous.
Thanks for the good trip wishes.

Thanks you very much I sure can use prayers.
I do have hope but it all takes so long even when they give you medication sometimes it takes a very long time to get the right dose.I am not giving up and have no other choice to hang in there.

Hope Kelse had a better day today Deb. Thanks for the big prayers. I hope that day will come soon that I can walk the beach again with the boys and enjoy the sunshine and hearing the waves come in.Right now I try to do some  will have to stay in and do reading.
Waiting for Friday to go to my quilting group. I seem to forget everything when I am down there.

I'm sorry the treatments have you feeling poorly and falling is just scary.
When you take your trip, I would ask for assistance thru the airports and special seating on the plane. My mom has never liked to ask and as frequent traveler, she was very frustrated. Once I arranged help for her (such as being driven in the little cart, assistance with baggage, etc) she was back to traveling again and happy. The airlines are so good these days about helping and it really makes a more pleasant experience!

I intent to do that  this time.
My brother needs a wheelchair and thy order that for him he travels to the states 3 x a year.
Am still sore on that hip and was not able to sleep on it last night. Today it feels a lot better.
I used a wheel chair once when I came back from Israel and had a broken toe. When we landed after 12 hours flying I was unable to walk .My leg was swollen till over my knee. We went through customs real fast and it was so helpful.

Yoka, we are keeping you in our prayers - you have gone thru alot - no wonder you can't concentrate sometimes.  I am sure that once you start your trip you will be fine.

Thank you very much for your prayers and good thoughts.
I hope the worst is over .Hope the time goes fast that I get some medication to give me some energy.Trying hard to be positive but when you have been  so active all your live and than are not able to do anything it is not easy.
Hope the pressure in my eyes also will improve soon. am doing the drops faithfully.
With so many praying it can only get better.
