Different problem and Gluten problem. Vote for this post

My Dr. put me on a Gluten free diet, but still having problems with upset tummy. So started doing some research, found out many things need Xanthan Gum. But also found out this can also cause problems.
So after doing research I found egg white , corn starch and some other things can take the place Xanthan Gums.
This is not Terrier news, but I'm sure I'm not the only one out there the needs to eat Gluten free and if your still having problems try removing Xanthan gum from your diet.
But who knows maybe there are some dogs that have to eat like we do. My Little Faith couldn't have wheat.
So if you have this problem I hope this helps.
Hugs.

Thanks for the info. I was recently diagnosed with a rather rare form of colitis after being sick and basically homebound since mid-September and I have discovered a number of foods I can no longer eat, such as onions and garlic and I have to be careful of lactose, as well. Getting old(er) certainly is a challenge and not always a fun one.
