Took Tillie back to the park, same actions, wants to go after all dogs.
PS, Will do the yellow ribbon on next trip, I had forgotten about that , Anyway was ready to leave when here came a lady walking a Westie, first one we had seen on all our trips.
I looked at Tillie and had to get myself under control so I didn't start crying, I was looking at my Tillie whos eyes were, just so alive, her front feet were just dancing, first time in months I had seen her so excited.. We told her to sit, I put my hand up and told the lady about Tillie and her loss of losing her sister and had agressions towards other dogs now.
We stood and talked while watching her Westie and our Tillie, we let them get close a little at a time. Tillie was so good, she was just happy to see this little Westie, oh how I wished I could have read her thoughts.
After about 20 minutes the lady went on to walk her Westie.
Tillie seemed like she was going to get down so we kept talking to her and Ed told her how good she was . We will keep her walking and meeting dogs when we can but we know we are not ready to get another FurKid of any kind.
I don't know if I will even be able to get another Westie, Phoenix was my love. Who knows maybe after awhile we will be enough for Tillie.

Oh Eve, hearing how Tillie reacted to the Westie is encouraging but reenforces the thought that she is still missing Phoenix. This is hard on all of you but don't give up on her. Time is your friend and hopefully, she'll adjust to being an only dog (for now anyway :)
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Wow Eve and Ed! such great news..it always amazes me the senses in our puppers...Tillie just knew that the Westie was the same breed as Dear Phoenix and how wonderful to see her reaction...maybe you could just meet Westies on your walksLOL!..but then you would be in floods of tears all the time!..we do hope Tillie gets a little better with meeting other dogs and her picture is heartwarming,we have given POW for this one..you will know whats best and in your heart for you all in time regarding getting another pupper...maybe you will be guided somehow or maybe not..its the way it is but as always Tillie will be loved and cared for so much by you and Ed..Thank you for updating us and know we are thinking of you all...Hugs and kisses Annie and Gang xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Eve I know how much it hurts to lose a pet that is so close to your heart.
But I also know that having Sailor after losing my heart dog Iver,
saved my life. And getting Sam now after losing Sailor has also saved me.
I think you should consider another Westie for both you and Tillie.

We are so glad Tillie got to see a Westie friend.
I know how much you miss your little girl and keep all the good times in your heart.
Only you will know if and when it is time to welcome another fur kid into your lives.

Just love the photo of Tillie on her little chase lounge.

Best of luck Love Riley

time will tell, it is difficult.       when i had a westie and a scottie together,  the scottie was lost when our westie died.    it took a while for the scottie too get over it.

Time is a healer Eve and Ed.
When Moshe went to the bridge I was a big mess crying all the time. I never loved a dog as much as our Moshe. Levi was sleeping a lot after Moshe went to the bridge. It was hard very hard but I was thankful that we still have Levi. Winter kind of brought Levi out of his depressions.
So glad and happy that we have Winter.
It is so true that time is a healer.
Love to you both and Tillie.
