And it is not At all what you were expecting. None of the terrier pups were working out for us, so we took another approach.

We have adopted a beautiful girl by the name of Lexy, now to be known as ZENA (Warrior Princess)!

She is a 2 year old....wait for it....Pointer mix and she is coming to us the same exact way that Roo did, if you remember (via our Very Special Rescue Angel, Georgia)!!!

She will leave her foster home on April 5 and we will be meeting her transport on Sat., April 7.

I will try to post her pic, but it may have to be resized.

We are just delighted!!!!!

Oh Cheryl , so happy for you.  she is a beauty, such a sweet face.  looks like a very happy girl.

I am sure Roo had something to do with it.  I  know  he is smiling from the bridge, knowing that he did good.

you also know that just because she is not  a terrier that we want you to stay with us and keep us informed on all of her new adventures.

god bless

You can tell just from her pictures that you better have your running shoes on.  Looks like a rather active little girl you will be getting.  She has soft eyes and I'll bet she and you will become best buddies in no time.  So happy for you.

She looks like she is smiling, congratulations. Do you know what she is crossed with? Our families Tess was a German Short Haired Pointer X Labrador and she was such a wonderful dog.

I think she is also mixed with lab. I'll know better when I meet her in person.

Congratulations! She has the same coloring as my "niece" Rupee. She's a Blue Heeler (Cattle Dog) mix. I would have said Border Collie and Lab but the next best guess is German Shepherd but maybe some Pointer too. She's a sweetheart and Zena looks like she is too. Too big for me though. I can't walk her without a halter.

She was listed as a Pointer mix. My guess is that she has some lab in her. Probably will know better once we see her.
