What Dry Food..... Vote for this post

are you feeding your pup(s)? I've always fed my pups Iams and Emmie's done well on Iams Healthy Natural Dry Food (chicken) with no grains. I don't know if it's her or if they've changed their recipe, but sometimes, she just turns her nose up and won't eat it unless I add a bit of chicken to it. Made me curious to see what you're feeding your furbabies.

Riley gets Science Diet Lamb and Rice.

I usually give him a very small amount of people food in the bottom.

I buy a 15 lb bag and divide it up in 4 air tight dog food containers.

When we reach the last one he sometimes eats it over the day.

I thing it looses something when stored.

We feed Layla "Taste of the Wild" - Wetlands along with a bit a cooked chicken and minced raw carrots.  On occasion we will change the carrots to another vegetable like green beans.  When Layla changed over from puppy food to adult, I contacted Taste of the Wild and requested samples of their products.  I received four 5 lbs. bags of four different flavors and Layla choose the Wetlands flavor.  We have been feeding her that these last 7+ years.

We used to have Minnie on Fromm dry food.  She liked it a lot and we rotated the flavors when one bag was finished.  One suggestion that was given to us is to add some cut up chicken livers to the dry and we would boil them in chicken broth.  Minnie thought that was great.  She is fed Weruva canned now and no more dry food since we have to keep her protein level down and she is a senior dog.  I hope you find a good solution for Emmie!

I feed Connor Earthborn Holistic Meadow Feast which is grain free and is made from lamb.  I always sprinkle a little bit of cheese or brown rice on it to make it interesting for him. He eats this with no trouble.
