Mummy is still Heartbroken Vote for this post

My Mummy is still heart broken about sissie NimbySue..its been 7 months now  and she saw 2 little dogs looking for a home at an animal home but she saw them through Cairn rescue ...one was a 9 yr old Bishon Friese and the other a 3 yr old Cairn Gal......mummy thinks something maybe happened to their owner....she rang....they had to be homed together and not with any other dogs, they had a special bond with each other and so nice they would not be split up...but Guess what!!..the Little Cairn was almost identical to sissie Nimby...Mummy says it was so uncanny...but not to be as she has me  here ...but she is pleased that she says from what she saw that these 2 wee ones would soon be in a new forever home...but she was so sad for days thinking about it....its still not a good time for a sissie though cos Dady is recovering from his new hip...I am a lucky boy though cos I got him here all day with me but mummy still comes throughout the day to check and get me out for walkies and things...today mummy took me and Daddy to the book town and sat daddy outside a cafe and I went for a walkie with her and then we went in the motor car up to the moorland ...I like it up there ,all soft squishy grass and moorland little streams...looverly cool fresh water...so I am  ...still waiting for  a sissie and Mummy still in mourning.......I guess it could be worse she could be wearing black every day!...Buck your ideas up mummy !!...gwab a gwip on yorsel!!...sissie wud say to her....Loads of love from Andrew and Mummy and Nimby with her wings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A shame it didn't work out but nice that they were to be rehomed together. I am sure one day it will be your turn. It does take a long time to get over the sadness and remember the happy times and even then it still lingers.

I know how she feels. I still miss Roo terribly. Zena helps to heal some of the hurt, but I am pretty sure I will never have the same intense feelings for her as I did for Roo. Not her fault, but still, no dog could ever compare in my heart.

Hope Annie will find her new little one soon.

Andrew you have great adventures with your Mum and Dad,going to fun places and the day out must of been lovely at the cafe. Keep up the good nursing work you give your Daddy sweet boy.

Annie, I know your heartache in missing darling Nimby. Time can heal the sorrow but our hearts are always tied to our babies.I'm sure Miss Nimby with her spunky beaders looks down and blows kisses to you, her daddy and Andrew. One day I just know a darling cairn girlie will be looking for a wonderful place to snuggle near your heart Annie. And that little girl will have hit the jackpot in your home. Sending you comforting hugs...Sandra & Grady

Oh Andrew I know how hard it is for your Mummy.  She misses sweet NimbySue so much.  We are keeping our paws crossed and our Mummy says she will say a prayer that the perfect special Cairn kid will come her way.  There is a special Cairn sister for you!!!   Love Louise, Judah, and Angel Murphy
