Just came back from the vet Izabella (not looking at me) had her 4th cytopoint injection. Matilda also had one today (her first) she has been suffering with ongoing dermatitis between her pads for months and a bad ear today so hopefully the injection will settle her itch and stop them both licking. Fingers crossed we get a good nights sleep after 3-4 days of very little.

Oh we just love your picture!  We hope your cytopoint shot helps you with your scratching and dermatitis.  Our Vet lady gives me one of those shots and it works wonders for me!  Love Caesar, Judah, and Angel Murphy

Cytopoint certainly works well (hope it continues) with Izabella she is 3 I did the expensive skin testing which due to several reasons failed (they gave her a cytopoint the week before the test she had also just finished a 3 week course of anti fungal medication and antibiotics which cleared up the yeast infection on her legs and paws) to detect much more than fungus we were also told it could be she is allergic to something not on the test or the stress of the procedure (they are only lightly sedated) may have affected the result. So that was a waste of $1250 so after a 15 week trial diet I decided to ditch the dermatologist and go back to the vet and try cytopoint Izzy is the best she has ever been. Matilda is 4 1/2 and it's only been the last 3-4 months that she has had bad dermatitis on her paws, she had a month on antibiotics and a month on anti fungal medication but her paws between the pads are still red so we applied a cortisone based lotion but she was driving herself and me nuts so she had a cytopoint injection on Saturday and so far so good she has settled down a bit we did it in the hope it might settle things down just enough for her paws to recover. Image may contain: dog and indoor

When we were in Bunnings today a lady said to me that you can tell which one is the mischievous one I turn around and she is bumping up against Izzy trying to get under her so she upsets her balance, she is nothing if not determined to get the trolley to herself.

It's amazing how more relaxed Matilda is after her injection poor little lass. It has certainly helped Izzy too.
