Oh Annie that sure sounds like a mess. I think some of us can remember our pups having accidents in the bedroom. I can recall one night that Maddie peed in our bed waking us up with a warm wet flow...eeek! Off goes the covers, sheets and mattress pad...hoping it didn't soak through and doing laundry and clean-up in the middle of the morning...no fun! Plus a clean up of Maddie too as she was all wet with urine. It was our wake up call to her incontinence.

Poor Biba! Her instincts to finding things to eat that isn't good for her is a challenge. I hope she'll grow out of that soon. Sending good wishes and (HUGS) Miss Biba starts feeling better very soon. Good you have her on a limited diet that may get her digestive back to wellness soon.

Hugs Sandra & Grady xox

Annie I don't have any wisdom on the many styles and uses for a muzzle. But I have used one.I have a soft muzzle not one of those hard basket type. After getting bloody fingers from Grady nipping me when grooming his nails I tried a muzzle. It did save my fingers from his biting in a grooming session.
I'm assuming you plan to use a muzzle for Biba eating things on your walks? I'm sure you are constantly worried about the things she'll pick up and eat.A shorter leash and strict correction when you catch her (just before) or in the act Watch her like a hawk. I believe the muzzle is only a preventative tool and most likely will not correct her behavior to eat bad things.

Hi Sandra. No I would never use a muzzle on Bibs..its only a fun threat to her ....I usually say something like ...Now Bibs behave or you will have to have a muzzy on yor snoot!! LOL....I do not recall ever having to use a muzzle on any of the dogs...although the vets had to when they first looked at Drews Paw with the tick in it.....I am just constantly watching where she is putting her nose and fine line in hunting or grabbing another  grim bit of fox or cat do do!!!
Hugs and kisses Annie xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ahh..ok  Seems you have a good way to train Miss Bibs that works well.
The muzzle I have only used 3 times with Grady on my lap to trim his nails. I don't use it anymore as I take Grady to the Vet to clip his nails. He is a real wriggle worm fighter and nipper when it comes to that task for some reason.
