Hi Amanda..
I posted about the Atopica.... when I saw my dog's Allergy specialist and asked about it the side affects scared the crap out of me. Price isn't an issue if something would work. Its been around for humans for a long time. They finally formulated it for dogs and has been used in other countries etc....
They called today and its in..IM going to give it a shot but Im not as excited as I was when I first heard about it. It takes 30 days before you will even know if its working.. Blood test are manditory starting with 2 weeks 4 and so on. Your dog has to be monitored very closely when being on this.
So that is the info I got and I think before anyone considers it be sure your Vet knows everything about it. ITs no cure all like I thought it would be.

Well I got over the scary side affects cause we had tryed everything else and this was out last hope and its working on Taylor... this is unbelieveable...Its been 3 weeks so far no more pustals and horrible itching...so paws crossed that this will be the ticket.
Andrea in CA's Scottie Katie is doing fabulous also...

Glad to hear it's working for you. My girls are on the desensitizing vaccine, I never try anything without asking the Dermatologist.
