Is that poop?

Ok this is a really weird question, but if I didn't see it I wouldn't beleive it!
Last night Kadee started acting like she was going to throw-up and by the time I got over to her she had. I got her outside (in case she wasn't done) and when I went back to clean up the spot, it looked like she had pooped on the floor, instead of throwing up???
What's the deal with that? We didn't save the specimen to take to the vet, but I'm wondering if any of your furbabies have done this and/or if this is something I should call the vet about???

My first Westie would do that. To me it was food that looked like it was the shape of poop like it just came up from the throat hard to explain but I know what you mean. like it was digested then backed up in the throat to form a log then came up that way. sorry not to good at explaining but I do know what you mean

Oh, we know about this. I have two poop eaters...and then they barf it up. It's not pretty to clean up in the original state and it's worse cleaning up in the barf stage. I have tried Lowry's seasoned salt on their food...didn't work. I tried the stuff from the vet...still didn't work. I'm hoping they will out grow it.
Have you seen anyone poop eating? That what it sounds like.

Perhaps she'd eaten poop ? It's a common habit with some little buggers !!

I've never had a poop eater, but I have seen vomit that looked similar, partly digested food as Denise mentioned. I would keep a close eye on Kadee and if the vomitting continues, I would get her into the vet. Could be a blockage, don't forget to watch for dehydration.

Well I think we figured out what she's been getting into...CAT POOP! When we first got Charlie we had a neighborhood cat that would do its business behind our bushes in the front yard. Well we sprinkled chilli powder and any other type of hot/spice stuff on the ground and that stopped the cat from going there. Charlie never seemed interested in it, so we added another layer of dirt down and forgot about it. Then along came Kadee and she is quite the digger and guess what she's found...yep cat droppings from 2 years ago, YUCK!!!

Emma our border collie cleaned a poop up in the garden by eating it...It was a strange cat poop..they do not normaly enter the garden as they are wild, she then was sick...On the bed! Yes Bless her a proper cat poop came outYukky as you say and most terrible smell.she has never done it since but then I think it was too much even for Emma .s tastebuds.
