urgent! euthanasia pending
Help! There is cairn in a shelter in Red Bluff, CA named Benji, who is scheduled to be put down tomorrow, Tuesday. If you check the petfinder list, he's at the top--Tehama County Animal Shelter. Is anyone close enough to go save him? Adoption fee is only $10, or $40 if he needs to be neutered, refundable if you have your own vet do it. I don't know if he's neutered or not. Age is unknown, though he's listed as adult. Has skin problem on back.

I'm also in So Cal (irvine)a hour north of Andrea (San Diego), so trip would be almost 600 miles one way. Suggestion is to check Petfinders rescue orgs in Northern California--- Redding, Yreka, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, etc, even down to Sonoma, Napa, Mount Shasta. There's also Cairn Rescue in Northern California--- see the following, also Karen Smith is in So California. I think the best bets would be other rescue groups, because I don't know if Cairn Rescue is hot on "mixes."

That little guy is surely very sweet, and would love to see him get out of there. Also, that "shelter" says its a "rescue" facility. So why are they planning to put him down?

Hi Guys - sorry to be jumping in at the last minute. Can someone get me up to speed on this. Is someone able to get him ASAP? Are they adopting or just pulling? Are they willing to foster?
Please email me the information - I know its next to IMPOSSIBLE to get him back to Missouri, but we can certainly help who ever pulls him .... one way or another!
Just save that sweet muffin!

Did anyone get this Dog , it seems like everything just disappeared. My Mom used to have a Carin named Benji before us who Died at the age of 16 we would be interested in knowing what happened.
