Meet Kizzie, our latest little Westie foster
Hi....
Thought you would like to meet Kizzie our latest foster Westie.
We picked her up from a transport yesterday from Mid Nebraska. We got the alert via our All Breed Nebraska Rescuers friends. Kizzie visited our vet today for a complete health check up and all of her vacinations.
She is a tiny little girl,weighs not even 13 lbs.!!!
Our Shelby weighs 28 lbs!!!
Our kids are being wonderful little Rescue Ambassadors again.

We are thinking she may be a great match for Mark and his little Rescue Lucy who he adopted in March.
Kizzie just LOVES to play with Ralphie, Abby Lu & Winnie & Most of all Shelby, our wonderful rescued Scottie!!!

Hi.......Ann, Haven't heard anything since I sent you the info about the two Yorkies I brought into Yorkie Rescue last week....from Elm Creek Nebraska...Met the transport in York, Nebraska.....they traveled on to Chris of Yorkie Rescue via her sister Carrie who met us in Omaha last Sunday, August 17th.
You had asked me about them....where they were fostered...and I sent copies of the correspondence when you expressed interest about adopting for your mother.
They are doing very well ...Brock has been neutered already.....Brandi will be spayed this week.
It is time after 7 litters that Brandi can not longer be a puppy producer and enjoy a loving adored LIFE!!!
Is your mother in Des Moines intersted?????
They are wonderful little dogs...and I hope they can be placed togethe!!!!
Sent you several direct emails about them trying to help make this match work ...it is best for everyone...
Would you let me know???

What a cutie pie.She looks like she adjusted right away to everyone. What is the story on her? Why did she end up in rescue? Well, looks like Shelby is there to stay. Those scotties have a way into your hearts don't they? Keep us posty on Kizzie

Kizzie is an owner surrender. Family has two toddlers and a new baby and no fence.
She also can be a little food agressive when the toddlers would take her food.
She came from a 'breeder'???? in Nebraska....Sold to The Doctors Pet Store in Lincoln. Purchased by one family, then passed on to another.
I am going to BE SURE this is her Last placement and her adoptive family will be her loving FOREVER FAMILY!!!
Here is a photo taken last night after a power walk with all our kids. Kizzie is the 2nd from the right.
She LOVES having playmates so we want to place her with someone who also has a playmate for her.

Hi Lynda....Tonight Kizzie is going to Mark's house to meet his little Lucy.
I will let you know how the play date goes.
Our Vet thinks they would also be great companions.
Yesterday I took her to the vet for her check up and brough up to date on all her vaccinations.
She got the works and a clean bill of health!!!

I am quite interested in this little friend. My mommy also has a co-worker who is interested in adopting a Westie (she already has 1 co-worker w/ a Westie ...she is converting another!!)
SO, we live in MA, what's the process for adopting??

Mark, Lucy's adoptive dad sent me this photo this morning....What do you think???
We let Kizzie spend the night since they were getting along SO WELL on their Play Date!!!!
Guess who didn't bring Kizzie back to her foster home this morning???
But he called at 7 A.M. and said the girls were having so much fun...
could she stay for the day...At noon...he came back home...to be with the Girls...
Mark reports they were having a ball together.....
Two Rescue 3 year olds...had SO MUCH to talk about..!!!!
They were probably discussing Ralphie, Abby Lu and Winnies foster home...Oh, and shelby too...
AND those CATS!!!
Oh, how they BOTH loved our Persians....
Kizzie has asked to spend the night Again....
SO.....Looks like an adoption may happen officially VERY soon!!!
It really is a Great MATCH!!!
