Dumping an old dog - Indiana

Does ANYONE know ANYONE who may have a spot in their heart to help?

We have been contacted by a family who is wanting to essentially dump their 14 year old Westie into rescue due to her owner's frustration with her and his (the owner's) aging problems. I am hoping you may know someone in your area that may be willing to take in a senior dog who really hasn't that much time left.

I know this is a call out of the blue - but we are scrambling to help this wee one as the family told us if rescue doesn't take her in, they will take her to a shelter!!!... and there - she would be put to sleep as she's not considered adoptable... :(

Thank you for your time. This dog is in Hobart, Indiana

I will never understand people for as long as I live, but then some I really don't want to.
Yes I thought of her and thought how I would feel if something like this had happened to Tasha. I wish there was a way I could help her but will have to just say prayers that someone close will give her the help she needs.

!@#@!@#!!!!

Is there any way to get her to California? It's a squeeze, but 1 more will fit. These people are not deserving of any dog. I already have one in diapers, one more won't matter.

email me.
