Terrier Club Rescue Forum INFORMATION  From:  Message: Friend to LWD February 07 at 11:21 INFORMATION I talked to the man that checks on the person I have been trying to get to shall we say clean up her act or close up shop. She is doing most things by the weak law we have. She took a course to give her own Rabies shots so no vet is needed. I was told to send out all information on her and let people know just who she is. So if you will please cross post this to everyone you know and it does not matter how far away you are because she will travel anywhere or ship anywhere. So here are just the facts and her site. She must agree in the way puppy mills keep their dogs in sheds because if you drive up to this place you will see what looks to be about 15 Westies being let out of a shed and into a small fenced in pen" The word I got was she had 2 older Westies she was letting go. I contacted the ladies and saw the Westies they got out and I saw blood dripping from the ones private parts, and from the way she looked this must have been going on for some time, later it was discovered she had an infection in the uterus called pyometra The one looked like she shaved her so close her skin was bright red and her back all broke out like she had been shaved with a straight razor, she had scabs covering her whole back. I am in close contact with the vet that saw the one with the blood , she ended up having 8 teeth pulled, she had a infection in her uterus and bad ear mites, and smelled so bad you wanted to get sick. The other one had a ear infection so bad her ears were closed shut and she couldn't hear. They both had a very bad case of ear mites. I heard that one threw up piles of worms on the way home, and this one had to have teeth pulled also and an ear operation just to be able to get medicine in her ears because they were closed shut. The word is out that rescue people have had her in court but the vet and the tech backed out of telling what they saw just before taking the stand. I have been told that people are afraid to say anything for fear of what she will do to their dogs. More then one person have gotten pupies and later found out when they got them home that the poor things had the runs and were wet all around the eyes. The mothers are in poor condition and not kept clean. She also has Cairns and the people I talked to said most were very sick for a long time. The Westies are kept outside in sheds and in pens and I was told they drink water from the runoff comming down off the hill. She took a course to give her own Rabies shots as another way to keep vets from checking the dogs. She has been heard to say she NEVER takes the dogs to a vet because this is how they get sick. Sheds on the right about 1/ 8 th mile down is where the Westies are, Small building on the left sort of in front of you is where the sale of Westies are done. I saw this site when I was looking for Westie breeders and I was impressed by it. I actually considered buying from them as I am in Pittsburgh several times a year.
