2/20/04 clip on puppies population explosion

The latest report from WCAC says at least 50 Maltese are pregnant. It is
very difficult to tell on some of the smaller Maltese if they are pregant or
not and they are in need of an ultrasound machine to borrow.
The news video clip on the story, "Capacity problems at animal shelter"
is at: (click here)

Also, Siliski allegedly was giving the male Maltese VIAGRA® to encourage

Delighted they're rescued and it was great to see them in the sunshine, poor little buggers. That's disgusting using Viagra though....greedy old witch.

This is horrendous. I am sending links to everyone I know who might care.

It really broke my heart hearing this....
"One litter has been removed from mother as she is 15 or 16, cant see, can barely walk, can't look after her pups."

These people need to be locked away... forever!

So glad they are rescued! I still can't see why after cases like this, that stricter laws are not enforced! How do people live with themselves, treating these poor babies this way. I say put her in a cage, with others stacked on top of her, with urine and feces, and never let her out. It would be too good for her and those like her!!

I like the thought of a 6'x6'x4'H cage, no blankets, clean clothes, toilet paper or wash water for this lot. Throw them some green scraps of bread once in a while and maybe some warm, polluted water in a dirty bowl. Let them appreciate their own treatment. Oh, and tooth aches... let them suffer haha!

At least the public is becoming more aware of the puppymill issue. If we could all band together with a plan, maybe we could start making some progress. Oh, I'm just feeling bad for all these pups.........
hmmm... me thinks the cage too big :-)
