Introducing Cadell

Cadell is the smallest adult cairn I have ever seen. She is a sweet timid little girl who is not sure she likes loud noises, but she is not terrified of my husband or son which is good news. She does hide when the other dogs get noisy and get yelled at. She already follows me around. I was very concerned because she didnt seem to be eating well, but tonite I put some chicken broth on her kibble and it disappeared very quickly (I had just been putting water on it before - she has very few teeth, and those that she does have do not make a good bite. ) She has been extremely good about doing her potty outside and enjoys her pillow in her crate. I have found her in it several times.
My son got very concerned about her tummy - her nipples are about the size of grapes. I explained to him that they were caused by having so many puppies, so often. She is 10, if she had puppies each heat, she is probably the mother of over 100 pups. No wonder she is so tiny, she never had a chance to build up her own self, just made babies and food for them.

She is one of the prettiest little girls I have had.. and I've had some beauties.

She's just adorable Corinne. Has she had her dental done yet?? Sara did quite well with the few teeth that she had left. Maybe Cadell wasn't used to good food, or just nervous. Anyway, she's a wee beauty.

hugs yo all, Theo and casey xox

She is very beautiful Corinne. I have Calliope. She lost some teeth too, but she still has a lot. I noticed she does not chew her food very much she just eats it whole.
