Check out WRM latest two rescues Mac & Missy
Meet Missy and Mac!!!, Sept. 10th, we got them out of the shelter. They came in as strays wandering along the road near Sioux City, Iowa.
They had spent two weeks in this shelter, and we were alerted by a fellow Nebraska Animal Rescue friend, and bailed them out Friday.
They are VERY Sweet and very bonded to each other.
Janeal and Jim are fostering them in Omaha.

Aren't they both gorgeous !! Fancy being found stray...Will they be rehomed together ? I hope so as they stuck together while they were loose....how old are they, AJ ?

They were found together. Very matted & dirty. The vet is guessing under 8 years old.
Both had an ear condition which is being treated. Probably some nasty fleas....too...so Mac is getting medicated bathes for skin itchies.
In the past couple of years, we have gotten several strays that have been dumped in this area.
Missy is very thin...but it won't take long to get some weight on her...Who knows how long they were wandering out there in the heat (it has been in the 90's here) and only had each other for love and comfort.
We are hoping to adopt them together.
They are very calm and sweet,love to cuddle and love to play with toys. They also get along great with their foster family's 3 Westies and Carin.
Their foster mom told me last night that Missy was really have a great time Zooming ...with her kids and Mac joined in.

Oh bless their little hearts. I can't believe some one didn't come looking for them. I am sure they will have a forever home soon. I sure hope they can stay together.

Great to hear from you....
Ask your friend Linda, to go the the Westie Rescue of Missouri Website ( www.westierescueofmissouri.com ) and click on the link "How to adopt" There is an on line application that she can submit.
Step 1: You should fill out an Adoption Application.
Click below for the Adoption Application
Step 2: When a rescued Westie is ready for adoption (medical care and/or rehabilitation completed), each approved application is checked to see which one(s) most closely match the needs of the dog.
Step 3: If you live in our adoption area and a dog is currently ready for adoption, we schedule a home visit with you. Otherwise, your application is filed until a dog becomes available for adoption and a home visit is scheduled. All approved applications are kept on file until a dog is placed with the applicant (we ask that anyone who applied to adopt a Westie and, subsequently, acquires another dog to notify us so that we can remove them from our files).
Step 4: Westie Rescue calls the applicant(s) selected and arranges an interview between the Westie and potential new family.
Step 5: The best family for that particular Westie is chosen after an evaluation of all factors.
Step 6: The new family signs the Adoption Contract and provides a donation which goes to cover program *expenses.
Also she can email me at ajadesign@aol.com so I can follow through to be sure her application has arrived.
I will be seeing these two sweeties tomorrow and will take some more photos.
Their foster Mom, Janeal in Omaha says they just keep getting sweetier and sweetier every day!!!!

We went to visit Mac and Missy today at their foster home in Omaha.
OH, are they SO SWEET!!!!
They are very calm and loving, and want to give kisses!!!
They love to be held and petted, and are very alert to respond to people. They don't care about squirrels...and do not bark...Now that is amazing for a Westie!!!!

Now, let's hope we find them a wonderful forever home of their own!!!!
