From what I know he was food aggressive around the children. He has already been placed in a wonderful home. AJ makes my head spin she does such fast work...

Yes, it was an exciting weekend!!!
Sweet little Skeeter came into Westie Rescue of Missouri as an owner surrender.
I actually had been talking with the family in outstate Nebraska about him since July.
They had 4 children, had moved, no fence & he has this thing about the kids messing with him when he eats.
He was given excellent health care & is a very friendly little Carin boy.
He prefers adults in his life and gives LOTS of kisses and loves to snuggle on laps.
I also had been talking with a retired couple here in Omaha who lost their 16 year old Carin and wanted to know how they could adopt from rescue.
They had completed their application for adoption both with Col. Potter & Westie Rescue of Missouri.
We did the home visit..(what a loving & kind couple with so much love and attention to share with a little dog)
A big fenced back yard & a cozy home was just waiting to be shared with a little Carin.
They also had wonderful vet references....
SO....
We did Skeeter's adoption last night!!!!!
He got along great with our Westies and Scotties.
The timing was right...!!!!
I am Sure there is a Rescue Angel guiding us to help these precious ones in need of finding a new loving forever adoptive home.

Have recieved several emails today from Skeeter's new adoptive family.
And also had a great update about the first almost 24 hours on the phone about their new wonderful family member.
Oh, is Skeeter going to have a Wonderful LIFE!!!!!
Just the short time he was with us...& our furr kids....he was a wonderful littl house guest!!!
His adoptive family have already taken him to their vet to introduce Skeeter to his new Dr. and file all of the previous vet records we gave them of his health care.
They just LOVED the photos...and are going to put Skeeter along with their family on their holiday card this year!!!

Yes, a wonderful match...
I am sure there was an Angel guiding us all to help Skeeter former family...and now his new forever adoptive family.
