Happy News ..Schpanky is adopted by his foster

I am just full of Happy Rescue annoucements....!!!
Remember Schpanky, the owner surrender Westie boy who came into WRM and he needed "The works" at the our vet.
His former owner was ill, & also said she could not afford vetting for Schpanky & needed rescue help.
(Schpanky actually came from Miami, Florida & was brought to Iowa...& was given to someone who had him tied up to a shed with little care.
His former owner brought him home with her from a rural area..& has loved him alot...but did not take him to the vet or give him heartworm preventative.)...
Schpanky went through all of his blood work...(3 times to be sure), his neuter, his dental, had a tumor removed from his eyelid, got him vaccinated & groomed his treatments later for his heartworm.
He needed a quiet and calm foster home to recover from his treatments...(Thank goodness he had a mild case of HW)
Our Omaha friends, who had just adopted a little Mill Westie a month ago, named Miss Lily Whyte, agreed to foster Schpanky.
They have the perfect quiet life style and also a very shy little Westie (newly adopted lady.)
They also had wanted to adopt two dogs...Westies/Scotties/Carins? when they applied to adopt from WRM.
My happy news is....
They "Flunked Fostering 101" (It is a Rescue joke we have...when foster parents...
Fall In Love with their precious foster & ask to offically be the adoptive loving forever parents of their precious foster ) :)
Scpanky has taught little shy Lily how to walk up steps...
NOW joins her with the family in bed,
They share lots of toys...love to go for walks together...do Zoomies in the back yard, and love to hop in the car & run errands with the family.
We just smile & certainly understand...
and do a Happy Dance for these precious rescues AND their foster forever member of this wonderful adoptive WRM family!!! :)

Larry and I have certainly Flunked Fostering several times!!!! Oh, My!!!

Here is a photo of Lily...the WRM mill rescue...and Schpanky in their back yard of their VERY OWN!!!
Neither have ever had a yard of their own...
So this is just Westie Paradise!!!!
AND they have Squirrels who come visit..and heckle the Little white dogs!!!
Their new parents...continue to give us wonderful updates about How Wonderful and so happy they are to have these two precious Rescued Westies as apart of their family!!!
Isn't it Great!!!???

Delighted to see they flunked fostering. Both wee Westies really have a super new life and their garden's fantastic-doggie heaven. A super set of photos.
