CRL Dogs Vote for this post

Here are the dogs currently in the Cairn Rescue League program. Bucko and Oscar have pending adoptions.

I'm also looking for a foster home for a 1YO female currently located in CT. Please email me at CairnMail@yahoogroups.com if you think you might be able to foster.

Katie, Chelsea, Cubby, Misty, Sammy

It turns out that Murphy can't go to a home with squeaky balls, because he eats them to the point where he might choke on them or ingest them, and it is proving to be hard to find a home without squeaky balls, because he also needs to go to a home with at least one other dog!

Maureen, I got your email. I'm getting ready for a meeting tonight, but thank you, and I'll respond ASAP.

PS - Pookie is a hoot!

I would not think a home without squeeky balls would be too hard to find. I have 5 dogs and 0 squeeky balls... however, if squeeky toys also not good then I am not a good example! LOL. Here's hoping Murphy finds his home soon. Darlene and Jolly , FL

Yes, unfortunately, I meant squeaky toys. A terrier home without squeaky toys is hard to find!

Oh, you got that right~ Jolly adores squeeky toys but at least he lets them live - for a while. Darlene and Jolly, FL

I know - a deprived life without squeaky toys! But his foster dad really is concerned that he could choke or something. He doesn't just destuff them or chew them up, he eats them.

Katie, maybe you need to clarify this with foster home ONLY because Jolly does what I call "worry" a toy to death. He picks at them, like plucking. Even so, he has toys live longer than my old dog, Buck used to do as a youngster. Buck would puncture in a second flat, then destuff. Very quick toy deaths with Buck. Jolly's toys (well for every dog here but Jolly says they are all his) last for quite a while. Just thinking it may be similar. If not, I understand. Darlene and Jolly (all toyz are MINE), FL

No, this is more than the typical plucking. Murphy's foster dad is cairn experienced, and Murphy is not safe with squeaky toys :(.
