Whew - dog #3! Sasha was an owner surrender, purchased from a pet store as a cairn-poodle mix, but we think she's actually a cairn-corgi mix. She has a long body and short legs. She weighs about 12 lbs.

The people who purchased her had never owned a dog before, and she was a bit much for them. She tended to "snip" at the children (7 and 11 years old), but the woman who went to ID her for me is a pet sitter, and she thinks it's just normal puppy behavior that's never been addressed. Sasha is about a year old.

She is good with cats, and as of yesterday, she was playing happily with the cairn, westie, and English bulldog in her short-term foster home.

I tried to post her picture to the blog, but it didn't come through.

Wow, you've been busy! If this little one is a corgi mix, the behavior can be curbed. My collie tried herding when he was a pup but not too much now. Of course, I have an all (only) adult home and that may be the difference. (I don't run or scream in fun or not when nipped by the goof ball). That may be the difference. She was getting away with nipping kids in first home. It's a thought anyway. Good luck placing your new crew! Darlene and Jolly, FL
