A WESTIE IN NEED - URGENT
PLEASE go to this link--especially if you are in Tennessee or know someone who is.
This little one will be PTS on Friday but they are very rescue friendly.
Please save this little one.
You have to scroll almost to the end of the photos to see the Westie. If you call, please ask for a Sue S.

Adult Small (10-25) Male West Highland White Terrier Westie in cell 14.
Last day is Friday, May 20. Call 865-681-2241.
This little boy has been through a lot. He needs to get out of the shelter, get to the groomer and spend some time in a nice, warm bed. Please call the Blount County Animal Shelter with questions: 865-681-2241. Their hours of operation are 1:00pm - 4:30pm Monday, 1:00pm - 6:00pm Tuesday thru Friday and 10:00am - 1:00pm Saturday. They are located at 332 Home Ave. in Maryville, TN. Take Hwy. 129 South and turn left at Hwy. 321 North. Take a left on Home Ave. and look for the "Animal Shelter" sign on the right. Turn right into parking lot.
He looks like a purebred westie.

I just called about him and they said that he was being adopted out. I don't know if it is to rescue or not but if they need someone to go get him and foster him I am their person. Just needs to know who to call.

OzWescue was willing to take him into rescue, but he has been adopted. Apparently, the shelter had five applications for him!

Yes, we talked when you helped to transport Murphy. VERY glad to hear you might be willing to foster. Foster homes are worth their weight in gold.
We do have a foster home application on our website, so please feel free to fill one out. Also anyone else who might be willing to foster!
