TRANSPORT:Kingston, OH to Atkinson, NH - 5/28-5/30
The Cairn Rescue League needs help getting Jackie, a 6YO spayed female Jack Russell mix, from Kingston, OH to Atkinson, NH. Jackie will be going to her adoptive home. I'll be doing the home visit on May 25. If it is not successful, the transport will be cancelled.
This transport can start either Saturday, May 28, or Sunday, May 29. The route is flexible. Jackie's foster mom can drive her about an hour from Kingston, OH, possibly to Marion or Mansfield, OH.
Then she can either go through Pittsburgh and down to Breezewood/Harrisburg, then up to New England from there. Or she can go straight across PA on Route 80.
Or she can go up to Cleveland and Erie, PA, and then either across NY on Routes 86 and 88 or up to Buffalo and across Route 90.
I may be transporting a dog to Albany and could pick Jackie up there, or her adoptive home can do the last 100 miles or so.
Jackie will need an overnight whichever route we end up using.
Jackie is UTD on rabies, distemper, bordatella, and heartworm and flea preventive. She is HW and fecal negative. She will be traveling in a crate with leash, collar, and special diet (Wellness for allergies). Jackie is housebroken and gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. She will probably chew her bedding.
