LUCK OF THE IRISH CONTINUES!!!
3/18/06 - Fantastic news from Valerie about more Cairns saved from Puppymills over the weekend.
Thanks to all Terrier Club members for their support. It's been a very busy March for Col. Potter but it's worth it when you see these wonderful dogs begin their new lives.

p.s. We are taking very good care of the poor Mom who had her puppies taken from her. How sad is that, that someone would be so greedy to get the puppies to sell that they would just "toss away" the mom? Luckily she found a soft place to land - in the loving arms of Col. Potter Cairn Rescue!
--- Three young Cairns had a leprechaun on their shoulders this morning and have found their way into CP's loving arms!! We have two new female furkids and one male. One of the females, just had six puppies removed from her this morning prior the auction. She is still full of milk and I'm sure wondering where her babies went ... Please help me welcome and raise an Irish toast to: Killarney: born 7/18/02, F, wheaten - she's the one who was taken from her babies this morning. Tipperary: born 7/13/02, F, brindle Grange: born 7/18/02, M, wheaten - is Killarney's brother Pat B has also been successful getting a female from an Amish PM today. This makes SIX PM kids between yesterday and today! All now safe, loved and being cared for by Col. Potter! Your donations to NLOL is what makes this all possible. We can't attend these auctions, save these PM kids and get them the vetting they so desperately need without your generous donations. Thank you.

Susan...question
do you know what happened to the two cairns that were pulled from the Mason City Humane Society? It was in February and it was a male and female. I was wondering as I am getting dogs out from the breeder and he was wondering about them. They were the last of his cairns...thank goodness.

Re: Susan...question
Yes - they came into Col. Potter and are now in foster care!!
Martin and Coretta are both being fostered in IL. This is Martin's write-up link: http://adopt.cairnrescue.com/index.php#IL
Coretta's foster mom hasn't done a write-up yet but she is doing great.
They were pulled by one of our volunteers and transported a couple of weekends ago. Great news!!
