What to Do, What to Do... Vote for this post

I'm hoping some of you can give me some guidance on what to do when a favorite stuffed animal is beyond hope. Emmie has a little white lamb that she uses as a pillow when we're watching TV at night. It is so dirty (from her licking it), I can't get it clean anymore and believe me, I've tried everything and it's been washed over and over again...I want to quietly get rid of it. I've even bought her a couple of identical lambs, but she'll have nothing to do with them. Any ideas what to do would be most helpful!
Thanks in advance,
Love, Deb and Emmie Sue

Just give her the new one until she forgets about the old one.

Good luck.

Drews hedgie was like that Deb..even though I washed it it was grubby but still gave it back to him...at least t was clean just a faded colour...I still have it here in the toy basket in his memory...I guess the white lamb just looks grubbier being that colour though....Hugs and kisses Annie and Bibsy xxxxxxx

Deb what a dilemma and choice we pup parents have to make.  I know just what you are going through with what to do about a well loved favorite toy and not an easy decision to make if you decide to release it to the toy heaven.
I know all my pups have had to say goodbye to their bestest snugly at some point.
Maybe when TV time comes at night you can put a new toy next to her dear Lamb each time until you can take the lamb away . It's really hard on a senior pup so I always did it in slow steps over a few weeks. Hope the transition goes gently with Emmie and she'll be finding a second new snugly to cuddle soon.
