orange staining
Mack has suddenly started to develop orange staining around his mouth and 2 front paws. I think its something to do with him licking them ALOT.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of the staining?
I realise that it doesnt harm him but it makes him look, well, poorly and I hate to see him look less than 100%.
thanks in anticipation,
G & Mack xx

Re: orange staining
Rio's always had this but she'll lick her feet sometimes and she drinks more than Sparky too. I've never messed with it as it doesn't bother me. XXX.

Re: orange staining
You can't get rid of it Gillian it's something in the saliva which causes the staining.
Some westie's have it worse than others

Re: orange staining
I have been told 500 mg of vit c daily will get rid of staining. Have tried it by adding a crushed tab to water daily and it does seem to help!
