Prayers Going Out
Sending prayers out to all in the path of Hilary. Watching the Weather Channel, it looks like southern California really got hit! Hope Mark and his family are safe and not in that area.Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Yes, we were in the tropical storm path. Got almost 5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours and ANY rain in the LA area in August is extremely rare - last tropical storm was in 1939, 84 years ago 
And as icing on the cake, there was an earthquake about 50 miles NW of us. My seismograph alarmed and Emmy went running for her crate, but we didn't really feel it here in LA. Overall, not a fun Sunday.....

Good to hear that you and family are safe Mark. A powerful storm. Have been following the reports and flood watch.It's done some damage.We got some down pours here and high winds but not as severe as what was hitting the coastal area and inland in CA and parts of NV.
