Car harness tips pls Vote for this post

Its been sometime I last posted here, we're busy with many things and would like to ask for any tips. So we will be having a family reunion before the new year, it will 7
hours long drive and Doppler's first long trip so we are preparing for
our safe and smooth travel. Doppler usually loves to see view outside
usually on both sides so we want to keep him safe all the time. This
safety harness seems a good one we saw at http://www.petstreetmall.com (see attached)
but would like to ask for any tips from you people? We are worried too
for any motion sickness for this long journey and we are planning some
stops already. He will meet lots of dogs and children there so I'm sure he will love it. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

I use one from Petco they have a web site too. The chest area is wider and well padded. It clips into the seat belt  and has metal rings on the back that clips into the holder. If Doppler is use to riding a longer trip should be ok. Just do not feed a lot of food and frequent stops help. Also trick words like almost home and what are you doing has talked mine out of getting sick.

Good luck  Love Sir William and Allen

My husbands dog would get car sick till we started taking her on short trips to the ice cream store.

We would buy her just a small cone, a baby one.

After about one week of doing this every other evening she stopped getting car sick and looked forward to car rides.

We stopped the ice cream and gave her dog cookies sometimes.

She was able to travel over 500 miles one way with no problems.

So make it a happy car ride and I bet Doppler will soon love car rides as much as  our girls do.
