Mushers Secret Vote for this post

Grady's pads were looking dry and he was starting to nibble a little at his paws. I would clean and check his feet for stickers, pebbles that may be bothering him but found nothing. They seem to look dry to me.
So a few months ago I got him this Mushers Secret for his feet. It's working very well and his pads look conditioned ,soft and he is not biting at his paws any longer.I apply before we go for walks. When we return home I clean his feet and then reapply.
Has anyone tried this product or any other product that helps protect the pads?

Sounds like a great product, I'll have to make note of it. We were having trouble with Emmie's nails getting brittle and the vet told us to start giving her fish oil in her food a few times a week. This cold weather is as hard on them as it is on us!

Glad that this works.

I use to use a product called bag balm, It comes in a green can and it was invented to treat cows teats from irritation to milking machines.

It is quite thick and a little goes a long way.

Some great suggestions, thank you for posting them. Deb I notice his food has fish oil in it but may help to add some extra to his meal. Sounds like it's working very good for Emmie. Grady's nails are not splitting or breaking , just noticed his pads needed extra conditioning.
This Mushers seems to be helping so far.
I have used the Bag Balm with Maddie and Willie. Both would try and lick it off.Bag Balm has a rich oily feel . This product is like a thick wax. It stays on better , doesn't stain and it has pleasant smell. So far I like how it works.
