Kelsi and Hannah had a tumultuous relationship, neither could sit near the other let alone on a chair, bed or couch together without one growling at the other to the point one would get down and move away. For years they couldn't even look @ one another without Hannah growling and advancing on Kelsi. Kelsi was rather timid but she was sweet natured whereas Hannah was quite a fiery little lass, she was tiny but she had attitude, she was sweet too but she had a temper.

They did mellow later in life but still always sat apart.

Hannah was never thrilled with Matilda climbing on the chair or into the bed she was occupying, Matilda would position herself just so that she was in front of Hannah or right up against her so she couldn't move or jump off the chair. She did the same with the sliding door as I couldn't have a dog flap on the dog door as Kelsi absolutely refused to use it with the flap on the door. I tried and tried with her but being a timid dog she wouldn't use it and I came home one hot day to find they had knocked the flap down off the hook and she was outside in the heat on the deck so I removed the flap completely. I got side tracked..... I would open the wire door just so they could get out when I was home and Matilda would position herself side on so that they couldn't get out or in the door without pushing her out of the way, she did the same on the inside or outside ramp she would sit right in the middle and block them from coming in or going out.
