Re: Rescue a rescuer.
I agree the wrong person is in jail. How can anyone put this woman in jail for helping an innocent animal who deserves more. I made a donation too.

Re: Rescue a rescuer.
Good for you Mary. Boy that has me major pissed off. California is one screwed up state when it comes to many things. But in Los Angeles it is illegal to tie up a dog outside, unless it's for a very short time with a good reason (like if your front yard is not fenced and you are say washing your car). I have family in PA, I'll have to make some calls.
Carey PS I'll have to make a donation to.

I'm going to see this lady speak today at an event I'm attending for CRUSA. She lives only a few miles from my mom. Pennsylvania definitely needs to get its priorities in order.

Re: Rescue a rescuer.
What a sad story. That poor doggie.....she was so good to go and save him and thank goodness the neighbour helped too. The owners need stringing up. That was good thinking to take pictures and a film too....I can't believe that SHE is arrested and criminalised. XXX.

Re: Rescue a rescuer.
They had something on tv about this last night. I think it was Inside Edition. That poor dog that was chained and left to suffer like that. I am glad she was able to help the dog out. I hope she is able to get the charges dropped on her so she doesn't have to spend more time in jail for trying to help out a helpless, sick dog.

Re: Rescue a rescuer.
I saw the update tonight on Inside Edition. She did exactly what I would have done....and I hope she doesn't have to go to jail for doing the right thing.
