Toby update
His stitches are out....waiting to hear about his bloodwork...probably this afternoon...as the vet is in surgery all morning. He finally was well enough to have his boosters.
So if WRM want to they will put him up for adoption. His energy level has so improved and at times he is like a 5 year old. His hair is still growing in...but the black bald patches are now much pinker and hair growing. Some days I think I should swap DJay for Toby......if only I could have another....this one would be it....he is just so sweet.
Will let you know about his bloodwork....I suspect everything should be great.

Carol you do a super duper job getting these little ones ready for a new home. I'm sure DJay was sent especially to you as no one else would put up with that wild and crazy guy... LOL

Test results
His thyroid is in the normal range...YIIIPPPEEEEEEEEEE....boy was that good to hear...especially after the one level being four times the normal level. But he will have to stay on thyroid pills...but for 3 months worth is only around $8.00. But I do know that he will probably have to stay on his special food for the rest of his life. It has done wonders for him.
So our little gentleman is good to go. The vet did sound kind of sad that Toby would be going up for adoption. They really liked the little guy.
Thanks for all the prayers and support for Toby.

We know how easy it is to get attached to this guys even when they are on "loan" to us. This is really great news and we know you are thrilled!

Carol, this is wonderful news... we know the right family will be found for him. To bad he can't stay with you all, you are a good family for him, but because of what you have done he will go to another good family,thanks to you.

I am thrilled to hear this Carol. You seem to be able to do miracles with these little ones and I know you are going to miss Toby when he goes to his forever home, but lets face it girl, it happens with them all doesn't it  You just have a huge heart full of love and you give it so feely.
