Looking for a new home Vote for this post

I am looking for a new home for my Westie. He is almost 5 years old, pure breed, not accidents at home  and neutered. I got him when he was 2 months and we really love him. One year ago we had a very premature baby who required plenty of attention. He is not very friendly when the baby is around (he is growling at him). We have tried so many things and he is still doing it. We want to get a new home for him but not dropping him of to a shelter. He is use to get his special food, grooming, vet visits, his toys, walks everyday so we are expecting to get something similar for him. Could you help me giving me options for doing this process?   I live in Minnesota. Thank you.

I forgot to say that we think that he needs a family without kids of kids older than 10 years.

Thank you. I will call them, it says they do not have a place in Mn but they may have options for us. I think it is a great idea... thank you again.

Yes, we say contact a Westie rescue group.  They'll be certain to find your furbaby a wonderful furever home.

Thank you,  Lorenzo,  for trying so hard & lovingly to find a new home for your boy.  We hope you are successful!   And we hope your baby is doing well now after what must have been a difficult time for you.  You will miss your Westie,  but we know that you are doing what is best for him & for your family...

Both of us had to leave our first families when they were expecting newborns,  & we were grateful that our first parents took care to find new parents for us instead of sending us to shelters...

from two 6-yr-old Westies in CT,  in our second home & loving it,  charlie & mr. butters

Just thought you might like to know that Lorenzo now has a new family. Bonus - he has a Westie brother, too! Thanks to Jenn for directing Gabriela my way.
