Col. Potter's ARMED FORCES kids!
Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who have served our country and especially those that have given their lives for our country. They say as one life ends, another begins. Today four precious little Cairn furkids began life all over again, as today they are free! I am happy to report that we were successful in getting all four Cairns available at an auction in Missouri today!!
What better way to salute this special weekend than to name them in honor of all the men and women who so bravely serve our country in the various branches of the Armed Forces. Please meet:
Commander: Female, brindle, DOB 7/18/01 who had her last litter of puppies ever on 9/30/05
Corporal: Female, brindle, DOB 7/24/01 who had her last litter of puppies ever on 7/12/05
Sergeant: Female, DOB 6/17/05 who will now never have to go through the trauma and neglect of having puppies in a puppymill or anywhere else
Airman: Male, brindle, DOB 11/9/02 who only has one testicle so was not a "hot commodity" at today's auction
We would not have been able to get these furkids without your support. The NLOL that is currently running is devoted to helping puppymill kids. These are just some of the kids that those funds will help. There is another auction next Friday that we also plan on attending with a larger number of Cairns available. I can only hope we will be half as successful as we were today. These furkids need you. They deserve a chance at a life of freedom and love. Please help us to help them. Please support NLOL.
