Favorite food: My momma makes me eat only a particular diet recommended by my Vet but I get "people food" as treats and handouts. (Perhaps that is why I'm a little overweight.) Although I will eat ANYTHING I see my family eating (including cherry tomatos and pickles), my particular favorites are "Pizza Bones" and Cheerios.

Favorite toy: A fresh, clean, "bouncy" Tennis Ball would have to rank as my No. 1 favorite toy. (My family likes it too, because it absorbs some of the "slobber".) But, I'll play fetch with just about anything anyone would like to throw for me. I also have a very good time with the bedroom throw pillows. My momma finds them all over the house.

Favorite activity: Everyone in my house thinks I can't spell, but I know what -W-A-L-K - and -R-I-D-E- mean!! Chasing and treeing squirrels in my backyard also is a particularly favorite pastime.

Special talents: Of couse I mastered the usual commands taught in my obedience classes (with the exception of STAY--I still have trouble with that one!) But when I was little, my momma taught me to HUG! I climb up on your chest, put my paws on either side of your neck, and press my face and head against your cheek. Everyone loves for me to give HUGS - my daddy especially and I'm most generous with giving HUGS when I think I'm in trouble or someone is mad at me.

Most embarrassing moment: I was most embarrassed when I was walking one day with my Daddy by the lake near our house. He picked up and threw a small "stick" into the water. Thinking he was throwing something for me to fetch, I sailed off the bank and into the water after it. I was so shocked to find out what water was! My daddy was glad I knew how to "dog paddle" so he didn't have to go in to rescue me!

My favorite friends: My very best friend was my stuffed bear named Teddy. He disappeared one day after I was repeatedly caught "getting it on" with him in my house. But I have many people friends who come to our house JUST to play with me!

Biggest adventure: I'm known to "slip away" from my backyard and run to the lake to chase ducks. I usually do this at the most inconvenient time for my family. One Christmas dinner was very late because I was out showing off my new sweater to all the joggers in the neighborhood. My momma and daddy sometimes take me actually take me on a jump, but I have my own pretend "rig" (see above) which is a real HIT with all the jumpers at the DZ.
