Favorite food: (Julius): CHEESE!
(Muggsy): CHEESE (Julius and I can really get a cheese "jones" going on when Mom is in the kitchen).
Favorite toy: (Julius): Any round, cylindrical object, perferably a tennis ball.
(Muggsy): I'm real partial to Mom's Beanie Babies, but usually I only get to look at them. I also like tennis balls.
Favorite activity: (Julius): Getting two-leggeds to throw the ball and then bringing it back and teasing them by not giving it back to them right away.
(Muggsy): What I really like to do best is bark. I have a beautiful voice and I like to keep it in good condition. I wouldn't want my pipes getting rusty.
Special talents: (Julius): I have a surf board in our swimming pool and I like to jump on it and go out in the middle of the pool and bite the water where it shines.
(Muggsy): This is a little embarrassing, but I have a really big tongue and I like to lick two-leggeds, especially the ones that are real close to the ground. It's my favorite thing to do.
Most embarrassing moment: (Julius): I really make Mom mad when I mark in the house. I am so misunderstood. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
(Muggsy): I didn't come to live with Mom and Dad until I was 15 months old and I thought it was bad to sit on the furniture and sleep on the big bed at night. Julius laughed and laughed until I finally learned how to jump up on things.
Most trouble I ever got into: (Julius): I got out of my crate when I was just a little guy and I couldn't wait for Mom and Dad to come back from the movie so I could show them how I chewed the flappity thing off the back of the leather couch. Hey! It was a lot of work and I still to this day don't think they appreciated my efforts half as much as they should have.
(Muggsy): That would be the "Beanie Babie" incident. I personally think Mom should be grateful that I chose to shake and chew one up that was not "retired". It was easily replaced and I don't know what the fuss was all about. She said something about "vacuuming up pellets until the cows came home". I keep looking out the window, but I haven't seen any of those cows yet...
My favorite friends: (Julius): Muggsy is my best friend in the whole world. She is NEVER too busy to play with me, unlike some other people I know.
(Muggsy): Julius is my best, best friend and that's all I have to say about that.
Biggest adventure: (Julius): When I was just a little tyke, about 7 dog years old, I found a huge rattlesnake in the backyard. He was three feet long and had a noisy thingy on his tail. I had to bark and bark at him and I couldn't let him out of my sight. I didn't trust him one bit the way he was hissing in Mom's direction and stuff. Some guys came in a big yellow truck and put him in a bucket and took him away. Another one bites the dust.
(Muggsy): I still can't get used to walking on the street. Before I came to live with Mom and Dad, I never got out of the backyard so it is still a BIG adventure for me every morning when we go out the front door. I whine a lot quieter now though, I think.
