Born: August, 1993
Breed: Male Cairn
Residence: Nova Scotia, Canada
Weight: Too much

Favorite food: Chicken, beef, fish, squirrels, chipmunks, moles, mice, snakes, ice cream and macaroni casserole. (But not all together!)

Favorite toy: Margarine container (hockey puck), 2 litre Coke bottles (football), my old shoe, my squeaky gingerbread man and anything rawhide.

Favorite activity: Chasing (and usually catching) small furry creatures and chasing the ceiling fan.

Special talents: Sitting pretty for long periods of time. I do this so much that my people sometimes call me Penguin. I get lots of attention and treats when I do this and it also comes in handy when I want to see long distances.

Most embarrassing moment: Well, I get scared of anything that folds (ladders, ironing boards, folding chairs) and anything I don't recognize (I don't like Christmas ornaments, especially that Santa that rings his bell) and my people laugh at me when I bark and run around.

Most trouble I ever got into: Once I chewed right through my leash and ran away. I was gone all night! My Mom and Dad were VERY worried about me, but I was fine. A nice man took me in and fed me. The next morning he called the dogcatcher who brought me home.

My favorite friends: My buddy, Sparky the dog.

Biggest adventure: When I was really little (about 3 months) I was outside playing. The bad little boy from next door came over to visit with me. Just as Mom looked out the window to check on me, she saw the bad boy pick me up over his head and throw me on the ground! Hard! Boy, was she ever mad! I was crying very hard because my leg REALLY hurt. Mom took me to the doctor and they said that I had a broken leg. They didn't put a cast on it and said to keep me still. That didn't work very well because I was a puppy! Three weeks later it hadn't even healed at all, so Mom took me to a different vet who re-set it and put me in a cast. I wore it for about 6 weeks and now my leg is almost as good as new! It doesn't hurt at all when I run and run and run, but when I'm sitting down I usually keep it raised.
