I am going on an adventure...
My mum is going to Washington state next friday and stay for 2 weeks to visit with her daughter and grandchildren. Guess what-I get to go to one of my favorite places.... the Waggin West Kennel. I just love that place. I have to drag Mum in the door as she is too slow and I have to greet everyone there and then I drag the kennel man into the back where the kennel is. I get my very own run. Half of the run is in an air-conditioned building which is nice as I live in the hot Arizona desert and the other half is outside. I am always excited to meet all the other dogs there. And when I am outside I get to see all the bantie hens and roosters that run free out in the central yard. Boy would I love to be able to be a chicken catcher... When Mum comes to get me, I am usually sad to have to leave. She thinks I might like it there too much........

a little town called Soap Lake. It is about 150 miles west of Spokane. It is going to be fun getting to be a grandma not by long distance....

Gerry, have a wonderful time. That is so neat that you are going to get to see the grandson(I have that right...right?). Be very careful...they are habit forming .

2 weeks at the resort! That sounds like a grand time, Toots! And they have chickens there, too? Wow, you have got it made, my friend! You better act a little happy to see your mom when she comes to pick you up - just to make her feel special. She will probably bring you a souvenir - maybe an apple - I hear they have good ones out there in WaRshington!
