4 AM adventure
This morning at 4 AM I went to the back door and started hollering for Mom to come running. I said, "Get up - Bark, let me out - Bark bark, hurry up - bark bark bark, I need out now - BARK!!!!" She doesn't understand dog talk sometimes especially at 4 AM so told me to get back in my bed. I went back in there and looked at her and said "But I need to go potty - whimper whimper grumble". She FINALLY understood that and took me outside for a double duty potty break!
She was so proud of me cause that's the 1st time in the middle of the night I asked to go out. My Humans wondered if I'd ever let them know or not cause they always let me out before I ask - even during the day. Well, they don't have to wonder anymore.
Have I ever mentioned how well I like routines????/ Tee he hee!!! 4 am EVERY MORNING.

P.S. I know this probably isn't the right kind of Adventure that's suppose to be posted here but I didn't like seeing an empty board.

I greatly sympathise...the Minkies have taken to getting me up in the early hours EVERY night now....makes me extremely grouchy by the end of the week.
I guess they're getting older so I don't make them hold on...

Before I was off for surgery we get up at 4:45 but the time has been set back an hour so you'd think he'd wait an hour before needing to go out.

I know how you feel Lynda!!
Bobby goes through little 'trends' of getting me up EVRY NIGHT for about a week and I get so sick of it. Luckily he's stopped it (you watch, he'll do it now for the next 2 weeks and I'm off!)

Shoot Elliot, Your mom can just throw the alarm clock out now, We let our Mom sleep until 5:00 AM this morning, she was very happy after getting up several times a night for the past week or so. If we were to tell you the truth we would rather sleep all night too though.

He generally does. Maybe with me being up & down all night here lately (constant night sweats all night!)is bothering him. Just pay back for waking HIM up!

I'm up at that time during the week to get ready for work so Wicket doesn't need to ask, he's out at that time any way.

I have been getting Rainey up to potty about 3 am or so. well, now thats she's a Big Girl, she can hold it longer. The other morning she looked at me and turned around in her crate...back to me, like...Bug Off mom, I'm sleeping here!!
of course by 6 am it's a pressing problem! Good Morning Everybody!!

Does Rainey go to bed early? Elliot has always gone to bed at night around 7pm and up at 4 or 5. I'd take him out when I'd go to bed around 11 and he'd make it thru the night. Hated going out tho since he was so sleepy. Sometimes he didn't even open his eyes!

My mom is sooooo glad that I sleep all night...and no going potty in the middle of the night.
I probably shouldn't say this but... Mommie has to get up to go potty before me!!! (hee hee)
I think I am training her well!
Sleep well all of my friends...
I am off to put mommie to beddie bye...
(But first, she must go potty...) hee hee hee hee

Eric and grem sometimes go out to garden when daddy is up beyween 4am and 6 and emma can get out anytime at night through dog flap,Mommy lets us out anytime in the night but the door to garden is open untill about 11pm.
