Morning News
Day 2 of Summer Camp......
As we left you last night, I had the call from the police about MacGuyver and Emma displaying rowdy behavior. I took Furby with me for defence, but found that the whole pack followed us down to the station. The officer took one look at that gathering and released the two, no questions asked. I guess MacGuyver was still throwing up and Emma was just cleaning up with her red long johns, the police thought he was drunk, so we cleared that up, right away. We all returned to the campfire, and yes Rudy did share his mousemallows and we used them in the s'mores, yum, yum! Eric, who I believe is the senior member here, was in charge of scary stories and he told of when the world was invaded by RATS and it was the terriers who went to work and saved everybody. The girls were really scared, except for Misty, who was ready for the hunt to begin. After the FGF and I went to bed the hunters waited in the front yard for the games to begin. We heard lots of hooping and screaming and when we went out this morning for a look see, there was Eric's carty filled to the top with those darn squirrelys. So today, we will be making squirrel stew over the campfire and making our Mom's pretty fur bonnets as a little pressie.
The fresh air made everybody sleep soundly after the hunt so they slept a little later this morning. Those stinkers were hungry too, I scrambled dozens of eggs and they just said keep em coming, so I did. We will be working on the squirrelys this morning, then this afternoon it is off to Eddie and Stuart's house for the BIG SWIM!!! I guess it is time for FGF to do a little lawn maintainence now, if you know what I mean.

We got in kind of late...but was it ever fun clearing FGF yard. It was so much fun to watch everyone sneak up on those squirrels!!!! We're sorry that we missed Eric's scary stories. We heard they were out of this world!!!
We have a surprise song for all of you. But we will be singing it around the campfire tonight.
FGF...Thank you so much for the wrecked eggs...yummy for your tummy.

Yum.....s'mores are graham crackers with marshmallow or (mousemallow,teehee)and chocolate candy bar in between the crackers and roasted just enough til it's melted and gooey.Usually on an open campfire or fireplace.
