Clue 2 Where am I
Adventures galore crossing a river of blue
To a Queen of the past great homage is due
Their calendar has 13 months in the year
Thistle arrives in time for a great festival here
Over 80 languages are spoken around
Mountains valleys and lakes in this country abound
She's way out of touch with the TC and phones
Must make time to get some of mankinds bones
Where am I, country please

I think you are in Ethiopia, Thistle. 80 languages are spoken there. It was the home of the Queen of Sheba. Ethiopia is on the Coptic calander. Jam 7 is the Festival of Genna. Ethiopia is landlocked but you can cross the Blue Danube to get there. And, finally, it was the home of many anthropological discoveries.
If I am right, it is due to my research skills- believe me, I knew none of this before.

I looked stuff up and thought Ethiopia cos' of the 13 months but I'm long beaten to it and I wasn't sure about the rest of the clues though we guess there are no TC members there !!!
