TC RoundUp Update !!
Yay!!!
I just secured the park for the TC RoundUp! I couldn't make the reservation until 8 am today and I knew someone else wanted the same park for the same date....but I got it!!
Now we can go forward with more plans knowing for sure where we will be.
As time goes along, all sorts of info (dog friendly hotels, directions to park, agenda, etc.) will be posted on Memory of Monroe's website to make it accessible to everyone. Thanks for the suggestions some of you have already sent - please keep them coming.
FYI - Memory of Monroe will be helping out a lot with this event, along with Crossroads Animal shelter (Raven's new family!). BUT, I think it would be fun for all of us to have a "duty", too - you know, put someone from Wisconsin together with someone from Ohio to do a job - a good way to get to know each other more. So, if you don't object, I may be asking for help from some of you, too. I know what it's like to try and do a duty with a dog attached to you, so I will keep that in mind!

Informal gathering(s) for those arriving from way far - when we know more about who and how many will be around that night, we will come up with something - maybe meeting at a hockey rink park and eating pizza or something....
I will soon be putting together a form to fill out for those attending and will request payment up front (don't know how much yet). Park rental is $130, but we won't know food costs, yet. etc....
PLEASE mark your calendar and seriously think about attending!!

Sue, a BIG thank you for getting the park for us. I know the reservation fee was quite abit.(130) so please let us know what we owe you. or add it to our commitment deposit.

Ohhh, that sounds like so much fun. I'm so jealous!!! But I think we are going to Newfoundland this year to visit my elderly grandmother.

have to find out when my old class graduates from 8th grad at my old school in NY.
geri, if I get to Dad's and can go, maybe we can meet and head out there together in separate cars since your're going with someone.

Mary- I am probably going to fly. I have to see how long a trip it is by car. The airfare isn't that bad from NY.
