"This is your pilot speaking. . ."

"Good evening, frisky flyers. This is your pilot, Captain Roo speaking. I would like to introduce you to our staff and attendants, but unfortunately most of them have taken advantage of the free champagne, so they will be out of commission for a while."

"But not to worry folks. We had a wonderful transatlantic flight, then stopped off at various of these bee-you-tiful (hic) (oops!) You-Knighted States to pick up our friends. Our co-pilot is ED, and navigator is Johnny (too bad he doesn't know what the heck he's doing, but hey, he's a pal)."

"Anyway, we are cruising at a height of 78 feet and if you look to the left you will see the windmill in my front yard. We will circle the old farm a couple of time to give Mom and Dad time to light the runway and we will begin our descent."

"Please shove all your treats under your seats and assume the position, no, err, that's not right, umm, lie down! Stay! Whoa--that's a tall tree!!! Sheesh!"

"OK, folks, welcome to beautiful, rural Cobleskill, home of, umm, OK home of ME!"

"Flight attendants: please make sure passengers are prepared for landing. Hey, how did that dachsund get in here? Well, at least put him to work, will ya?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Cobleskill. Please remain seated until I get this plane out of the pond and then we will go inside for a lovely dinner, songs by the woodstove, and a little barking outside before retiring to our rooms for a few hours sleep."

"Flight 0224 will leave here at , well, early -- sharp! Have a good evening and enjoy your stay."

Johnny, ED, let's greet our passengers as they disembark. Good job, men!"

Captain Roo signing off!

(For now!)

Any of you terriers who missed the flight, please call FGM at 1-800-I-AM-SPARKLY and she will whisk you to Cobleskill and you can join in the festivities.

After dinner, we are all going to Wal*Mart in Dad's LeMans to shop for our Mardi Gras costumes and other finery. Oh, and we will be picking up some chocolates for FGM and a Carhart jacket for FGF. (They are on sale.)

Then off to Woodbeck's Liquor Store to pick up some essential supplies.

Then we will be visiting the cow barns at Cobleskill College and have a moo-down.

Then back here.

Be here or be weird!

Your pal,
Roo

FGM! Please sparkle us to Roo's!! Reply to this Message

Roo! Roo! Sorry I'm late, but we had big, important stuff going on tonight. Mom & Dad say we've had a little celebration over his new job, so now Chloe & I can go off & have a celebration of our own.

We are sooooo looking forward to the festivities!!! Can't wait to ride on the float--that should be almost as fun as the breaks we can take! I'm happy to hear you've already got me some beads & a mask. Did you get anything for Chloe?

Sorry to hear the trip to WalMart was cancelled--we've got to support that place, since Daddy will be working in their warehouse!

Chloe is very excited, but also a little nervous. She says she doesn't really want a boyfriend, BUT she's rather free w/the puppy kisses (can't get her stopped!), and she's afraid someone might take it the wrong way. I'd say we'd better keep an eye on her, but...I know myself better than that! I'm sure we'll be much too, um, busy, for that! Is there anyone who can look out for my sister??

Alrighty my love, I'll see you as soon as FGM can get us there. We're gonna put on our purple people pj's and be there ASAP!!

I'll be kissing you soon! Love, your Katie Boo

Oh Katie Boo!
We got lilibeth and Giselle bringing all their Mardi Gras finery -- and we will have a shopping frenzy at FGM's! (I got Mom's credit card!)

We will have so much fun -- and don't worry about Chloe Rose -- everything will be fine -- she doesn't HAVE to commit to anything but having fun, fun, fun!

Love,
Your Roodie Doodie

Girls, grab your stuff and I will be right over with my wand, I can do a little transporting while the King Cake is cooking. I wonder how long you have to cook poodles?
Sparkles!

Roo, my friend, don't forget me, Katie.
I am really getting tired of this white stuff, have to get away.
Just fly a little lower over Clay, NY, and pick me up.
Thanks, Roo, my man.
