Austin's Mighty Dog Walk
We survived the 3 mile walk and multitudes of dogs. Don't know if we broke the record, oh well.
Saw about 4 Westies and have a picture of one to show you all.
Never got hooked up with Jazz...we will one of these days!
Here's some pictures, now we'll have to see if mom can do this! If so, this is mom and me after the walk! She's smiling cuz it's over with!

This is my godmom, Kerry and her son and their furkids. The pug never walks the whole three miles but we encourage it. At least he walks from the starting line and then walks across the finish line!
All four are good people!

This is Major. He's 4 years old and a bit big.
I did not want to pose with him but he was willing for mom to take his picture!
We told his mom about the TC!

I'm home now and ready to snooze some.
Mom here- Nessie always amazes me on outings like this! She's willing to socialize and never gets into any ruckus with the other dogs!
The walk raises money for service dogs. We were glad the weather cooperated this year.
Me- I'm off for a pedicure now!

Hehehe...Nessie looked happily worn out in the top photo. We used to have a house that had hearth tiles too like the ones she's resting on. They were Rio's favourite place !!

Read in the Sunday paper, we didn't break the record so England still has the record!
Oh well, I wasn't there for the record anyways but to meet more four legs, see my godmom as well as the cause!

I think it was actual dogs counted. Record being 5017.
The walk in England was on Friday (maybe it was our Friday but your Saturday?). Can't remember the specific as to where it was. Evidently Austin set the record back in 2002 and lost it and hasn't been able to get it back.
Oh well the record is not the important thing.
