A cairn and a sandwich
Mom and Dad took me on a picnic today by the Potomac River, near Mt. Vernon (where George Washington had a home.) Dad had a very fascinating sandwich.

Oh my goodness!! I loved your adventure. That face is to die for. I think you were very well behaved not to snatch that sandwich from your dad...after all, he didn't seem to be enjoying it that much. Otherwise, he would have gobbled it straight away!!

Checking it all out
After our picnic, I got to walk around and investigate...don't worry, Mom and Dad shared some cheese from one of the sandwiches, yummmmm. Hope you enjoyed my adventure! Your pal, xxxMaxxx

Oh, Max....you are just adorable. Your color and markings are so special. We're so sorry you didn't get any of that sandwich....it does look good. Glad you got some cheese, though....that is ever better!!! But, what a lovely time it looks like you are having on a beautiful day.

This was hillarious! I can see those eyes glued to the sandwich, following it's every move, just hoping for a piece to fall! HaHaHaHa
Miss Daisy would have done the same thing, but every few seconds she would touched her paw on my leg so that I wouldn't forget she was there and starving.
