CAPTAIN ROO REPORTING IN ! ! ! !
OK, I have read all the speffications!
And I have a brilliant idea! I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. My Mom let it slip that she is related (somehow -- I don't know how!) to the British Royalty. So what I did was I went down to the royal shipyard and tossed Mom's name around and to make a long, long, long story short, I am getting a special deal on one of Queen Lizzabeth's old yachts.
She came to the U.S. in this one during the bicentennial back in 1976 in Boston Navy Yard and Mom, well, she just fell in love with it, and she said, "Liz, if you ever get tired of it, let me know, and I'll take it off your hands."
OK, so this yachty is not as big as an ocean cruiser (floating city type) but plwenty of room for us terriers.
Only thing is, we have to buy new mooring ropes because Queen Liz sez "You can NOT use my royal purple mooring lines because they are mine."
So anywaqy, Mom and the Queen hashed out a few details and the boat is ours _____ BUT it still needs some major work done! So not to fear -- we are gonna get to work and terrier-size all the cabins and then set to work on the inferior designing.
Oh, and we have to provide our own crew -- no problem.
The Queen also says we have to be good terriers and share and can her corgis come on board. Mom said yes, we would and yes, they could, but I don't think I'll tell Queen that the corgis will be working passengers. I imagine they will make great stewards and waitstaff!
So I am going to review all the specs and get ready to post assignments!

Oh Roo, I can't believe it! One of Lizzie's own ships?
Now, what about the linen, I have been embroidering with my tiny paws, little E's on the fancy linens for Ellie, did Elizabeth leave any of her old things on board with the same initial?
I hope everybody starts waking up soon, I am eating too many sausages, and I am supposed to share.

You kids got here fast! Are you jet propelled or running on natural gas? Oh never mind, it doesn't matter. This will be a splendid boat for running to town and picking up meat pies and such. Do you have a ladder in the back for terriers to get back in when we go swimming and tubing? I understand there is a whole case of plaid bikinis and trunks for our guests and workers. I suppose some of you prefer to skinny dip....

Yes, we do have a nice ladder so we can get back in the boat. We have some extra life jackets too. We also have a tube!! Who want to go tubing? Meat pies sound great. If we knew those were involved we would have been here even faster!

Oooh My Golly Gosh.. To get Lizzies old boat is sooo brill Roo..Yoo certainly knoow people in high chairs!and I just loove the rooms,How many cabins will thar be? and All these helpers..I am sooo honoured and I just loove the snausages...Wot make are they...Who cookeded them they are soooo Yummy!!..I have bean telling Suckie aboot the boat and all the work and she just sits shaking her head for sum reason..She did mention Sumfing about me doing my Sums..Doonie knoow wot she rattling on aboot though...Oooh and the motorbikes sound terrierific,we can have great fun on those.Who is in charge of the Galley Roo? and wot sort of food have they arrangeded to get in and also have we got plenty of cold storage for meats and poultry and Fish,Also I fought we could have a fishing competition over the Yacht side when we get sailing and how long will it be before we sail?Wot colour mooring ropes do yoo fink White will be nice?

Mia would be fast to tell you that all you westies and cairns own your 2-legged parents, you just let them think they own you! You see how you have us trained to buy you toys, give you treats, feed you, take you on walkies - I'm single and my big Saturday adventure isn't a date on Saturday night but to take Mia to a new park to explore until we find the perfect one that she really likes, and after we stop at the ice cream shop that has dogy-delight sundaes (doggy frozen treat with crushed up snacks on top). She has me well trained.

Chloe & I will be reporting for duty first thing in the morning! We can help out wherever needed, either in construction, decoration, or the all-important task of feeding everyone! I'm good at painting, and Mom taught me how to swing a sledgehammer--any call for that, 'cos I just loves to sledgehammer things! Chloe is a licker nonpareil--anything she can do with that constantly busy tongue??
