Christmas in Iowa
Christmas time in Iowa
When it's Christmas time in Iowa,
And the gentle breezes blow,
About seventy miles an hour
And it's fifty-two below.
You can tell you're in Iowa
'cause the snow's up to your butt.
And you take a breath of Christmas air
And your nose holes both freeze shut.
The weather here is wonderful,
So I guess I'll hang around
I could NEVER leave Iowa.
My feet are frozen to the ground.

Sounds like here in Rochester. Mia went rambling out this morning to play in the snow and upon squatting to pee, decided it was too cold, sat down and made me carry her inside.

Hey you from the Lower 48, I used to lve in Alaska, and you guys are whining to me! Actually a lot of times in Anchorage when it was really quite cold "in the lower 48", it was warmer in Anchorage!

Oh we liked that!!! I worry about our Jack, the Olde English Bulldogge, peeing in the high snow, worried that some part of him might just stick there ...Always lovely in New Hampster, and it ain't even officially Winter yet .. .
